In January of this year, I was invited to speak at the Honduran National Youth Congress held outside of Tegucigalpa. Close to 1,000 youth and chaperon’s navigated the mountainous path to a retreat center overlooking the city. It was amazing to observe the passion and energy the Honduran youth exhibited. There were also youth from Nicaragua, Peru and Argentina present. In addition to the three speakers, Voces, an a cappella singing group, was on hand to lead the kids in praise.
It is encouraging to know that God’s word and his people are alive and active in countries throughout the world. In spite of many difficulties, lives are being transformed by the power of the Spirit.

Revolución 2008 was the most incredible youth activitie in Central America, Praise God!! We are working hard for our next invent!!! The International Convention of Youth Ministers of The Churches of Christ. So, Jim, Get ready to come back to Honduras very soon.
