Montgomery, Alabama x 2

For the past two weekends, I have enjoyed some good old Southern hospitality.  Oct. 23-25 was the World Mission Workshop, this year hosted by Faulkner University. It was great to commune and talk with missionaries and students interested in missions.  You will be able to listen to the talks by clicking here (the keynotes and classes should be up soon).  Next year’s World Mission Workshop will be hosted by Freed-Hardeman University.

Last weekend was Missions Sunday at the Vaughn Park church, one of our longtime supporters.  As always, it was a pleasure and blessing to be with the dear folks at Vaughn Park.  One of the highlights was on Sunday, when Matt and Grace Hangen, VP’s missionaries to Togo, were able to hook up with the congregation via Skype.  Matt and Grace are doing language study in France, and Matt led the communion devotional live from France on his webcam.  It was awesome!
